Hold Freezes
Thanks to funding by PVLD, this feature has now been added.
When a user views their holds, there is an additional column for freeze. Holds that can be frozen have a checkbox in that column. The checkbox displays as checked if the hold as frozen or as unchecked if not. Changing that checkbox, and clicking a button freezes or unfreezes a hold. This can be done for multiple holds at once.
As of this moment, it is only implemented for III 2007, but it could presumably be ported to other connectors.
For libraries that do not want this feature, or that are using a connector which does not support it, there is an administrative setting to disable it.
Checkout History
Thanks to funding by PVLD, this feature has now been added.
There is a new page in the user area for checkout history. When a user first visits that page, they are given the option of opting into checkout history. From the time they do so, their history is tracked, and the page displays it, along with a link to opt out of history tracking. If a user opts out, tracking is turned off, and their previously saved history is deleted.
